About the Owner
Jenn Marr is a long time food and beverage veteran with nearly 30 years of experience in the business. Her love for the Aloha spirit and Island lifestyle are clear to see in her food and beverage presentation and personality. Working in Hawaii restaurants since her teenage years, the industry provided an excellent opportunity to be able to maintain an active ocean lifestyle, travel and career. Well known and awarded for her bartending skills at the top of the Downtown Honolulu bar scene at Indigo, she also worked many years at the legendary Sugar Bar on Oahu's North Shore where Jenn calls home. Recently, she was able to travel to Puerto Rico courtesy of Don Q Rum as a prize for reinventing the Pina Colada for the Aulani resort where the competition was held.
Most recently Jenn was a manager/catering director at Luibueno's in Haleiwa Town on Oahu where she was given the freedom to create menus for events for both food and beverage concentrating on high end custom menus and private chef services. Upon the closing of that establishment Jenn was then given the freedom to expand on her dream to provide the best custom specialized vacation service to her growing list of high end celebrity and VIP clients.
Jenn graduated from the University of Hawaii's Culinary School of the Pacific with a double major in culinary and pastry. While competing in the American Culinary Federation regional competition in Hawaii, Jenn received 2 silver medals earning the second highest points in both the hot food and showpiece categories proving her crossover knowledge for both the front and back of the house.
Jenn's passion is for high quality fresh and responsible products and ingredients. She enjoys cooking many different types of cuisine. Most of her menus have a Hawaii Regional Cuisine theme with a New American and European twist.
North Shore Dream Vacation Service gives Jenn the opportunity to combine custom private chef and personalized concierge services to give visitors to Oahu the ultimate Hawaiian vacation experience, as well as teaching small specialized cooking classes.
